Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed to make Pestle Weed College of Information Technology, Dehradun a Study Centre of Uttarakhand Open University

Dehradun :  In the presence of the Honorable Education Minister of Uttarakhand, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, the Vice Chancellor of Uttarakhand Open University. Dr. Naveen Chandra Lohani, Registrar Dr. Khemraj Bhatt, and Chairman of Pestle Weed College, Dr. Prem Kashyap, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to make Pestle Weed College of Information Technology, Dehradun a Study Centre of Uttarakhand Open University. The Honorable Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Vice Chancellor (UOU) Dr. Naveen. Chandra Lohani, Registrar (UOU) Dr. Khemraj Bhatt, Chairman of Pestle Weed College Dr. Prem Kashyap, Secretary Mr. Akash Kashyap, Management Committee members Mr. Vinod Sharma and Major General, Mr. Shammi Sabarwal, Mrs. Kiran Kashyap, Rashi Kashyap and Principal of Pestle Weed College, Dr. Anita Verma, inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. The students then presented different cultural programmes. All guests were welcomed by Principal Dr. Anita Verma with a bouquet and a shawl.

Vice Chancellor of Uttarakhand Open University, Dr. Naveen Chandra Lohani, said, “I am confident that Pestle Weed College will serve as an important study center of UOU because of its significant contribution in the field of education”.

Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said, “A state with ideal teachers develops rapidly. Uttarakhand is progressing rapidly in the field of higher education. Of the top 100 universities in India, eight are from Uttarakhand, and we hope that Uttarakhand will soon be ranked as a 100% literate state”.

At the end of the program, Dr. Prem Kashyap presented momentos to all guests and the program was concluded with the National Anthem.
